The pharmacology is a discipline that deals with drug research, that is to say, substances used for therapeutic purposes to prevent, alleviate or cure diseases. Pharmacology is a science which has developed in parallel with the medicine, as doctors’ needs have been the driving force behind its development. The aim of this training is therefore to understand the basic principles pharmacology, including an understanding of the concepts of drugs and mechanisms of action, as well as the processes of release, absorption and distribution, their metabolism and excretion. The course will also examine adverse reactions, drug interactions and overdose in greater depth. Furthermore, it will will analyse pharmacology applied to the various systems and organs of the human body.
