Introduction

Occupational Health and Safety refers to the set of actions and measures aimed at preventing, minimising or eliminating the risks present in the workplaces and which may affect the safety of the workers. The current regulations on PRL This means that both employers and employees should have access to training and general skills in this area, even though this is not their main role within the organisation. 

Understanding Occupational Health and Safety. Basic Legislation. Organisational Structures, develops the body of knowledge required to understand the relevant national legislation and to familiarise oneself with the main organisms related public bodies, to find out how occupational health and safety is organised and how preventive work is planned.

  • To know the legislation basic in the field of occupational health and safety in our country.

  • Find out which are the main models of Occupational Health and Safety Management which an organisation may be eligible for.

  • To analyse the various stages which form part of the planning of preventative work.
