Shielded Computers: Master Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity 40 hours

Introduction

Cybersecurity is an essential discipline in the era of the Information Society. The growing interconnection of devices and systems presents countless opportunities for efficiency and innovation, but also exposes individuals, businesses and governments to a range of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

This training, Hardened Computers: Mastering Cybersecurity, aims to tackle the complex challenges involved in protecting computers and networks against constant and sophisticated cyber threats. You will learn how to design, implement and maintain secure systems, as well as develop skills in cyber intelligence to proactively detect and respond to potential intrusions.

Objectives

  • Understand the concepts and principles of cybersecurity and its relevance in today’s society.

  • Analyse the lower layers of personal and local networks, such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

  • Identify tools and types of attacks to effectively protect a local network.

  • Implement security measures at different levels of communication, from the physical layer to the application layer.

  • Learn the key factors for success in information security.
