Programme 50 hours

Introduction

To talk about Web Accessibility means talking about universal access to the Web, regardless of the type of hardware, software, network infrastructure, language, culture, geographical location and users’ capabilities. It was with this concept of accessibility in mind that the Web Accessibility Initiative was launched, known as WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative). This is an initiative launched by the W3C, the aim of which is to facilitate access for people with disabilities by developing accessibility guidelines, improving tools for assessing and rectifying web accessibility issues, and carrying out educational and awareness-raising work regarding the importance of the accessible web design, and breaking new ground in accessibility through research in this field.

Objectives

  • Purchase the tools for the access to the website and its content can be accessed safely by everyone.

  • Master hardware and software concepts by creating better network infrastructure.

  • Manage these networks by creating more accessible spaces, regardless of of the disability.
