Introduction

The course AI for Social Inclusion provides a comprehensive overview of how the Artificial Intelligence It could be a key tool for to promote accessibility, reduce inequalities and encourage everyone to participate in the digital society. Using a practical and ethical approach, real-life cases are analysed and strategies are developed that apply AI to inclusive design, the special needs education and the bridging social and technological divides.

Objectives

  • Understanding the principles of accessibility, diversity and inclusive design in the field of AI.

  • To analyse the role of the AI in reducing inequalities and promoting the inclusion of vulnerable groups.

  • To get to know AI tools and applications aimed at people with different abilities.

  • Develop a an ethical and empathetic perspective the use of AI in social, educational and community settings.

  • To promote the use of the technology as a driver of social transformation.
