  2. Systems for measuring sustainability in building construction.
  3. Sustainability assessment systems.
  4. Sustainability standards.
  5. Assessment tools.
  6. Common characteristics and trends.
  7. Analysis of environmental impact categories: energy, atmosphere, water, materials, waste, biodiversity, etc.

TEACHING UNIT 2. INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION SCHEMES FOR BUILDINGS:

  1. LEED certification: assessment system, requirements and certification process.
  2. Other international environmental certification schemes for buildings: BREEAM, CASBEE, DGNB, iiSBE, HQE.

TEACHING UNIT 3. NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION SCHEMES FOR BUILDINGS:

  1. BREEAM.ES certification: assessment system, requirements and certification process.
  2. Other national certification schemes: VERDE, GUIAS IHOBE, the CENER Seal, etc.
