Introduction

Thanks to the Training Programme on Temporary Incapacity, The student will learn the basic points involved in a situation where a worker is unable to carry out their usual work duties due to a temporary illness or injury. During this period, the employee receives financial compensation from Social Security or their mutual insurance scheme, via what is known as a ‘delegated payment’ which the employer pays and then deducts from their social security contributions. The duration of temporary incapacity varies depending on the severity of the illness or injury and requires the submission of a doctor’s certificate to justify the absence from work.

With the Temporary Incapacity Training, will find out the eligibility criteria, amount, duration and procedure for temporary incapacity benefit depending on the underlying cause.
