This privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data that we carry out when you visit our website.
Our Privacy Policy has been drawn up in accordance with current legislation, specifically the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter, “GDPR”) and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (hereinafter, “LOPDGDD”).
Our aim is to ensure that data subjects can find out who we are, the purposes for which we will process your personal data, to whom we may disclose it, and what your rights are.
Unless otherwise stated, Educa Edtech Group will act as the data controller for your personal data, in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned regulatory framework.
In order to ensure the smooth running and efficient management of our business, the organisations that make up Educa Edtech Group jointly determine the purposes and means of processing personal data and, as such, would be regarded as joint controllers, in accordance with the provisions of Article 26 of the GDPR.

2. Purposes of processing and legal bases
This section sets out the various purposes and legal bases for the processing of personal data carried out by Educa Edtech Group:
- Consent of the data subject (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR)
- To provide you with information relating to the training courses and educational services offered by Educa Edtech Group. This information will include special offers, discounts, grants, marketing information or other matters that we consider to be of interest to you.
- Contract performance and pre-contractual measures (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR):
- To provide the contracted service or to formalise the relationship established between the User and the Educa Edtech Group company responsible for delivering the training, in relation to any of the types of training programmes offered in its catalogue.
- Communication necessary for the continuation of the contractual relationship.
- Compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR):
- To disclose information to authorities, regulators or government bodies in cases where this is required by law, local regulations or in order to comply with regulatory obligations.
- Legitimate interests of the data controller (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR):
- Sending of advertising and commercial information regarding the courses and study programmes offered by Educa Edtech Group by any means, including electronic means, where there is a pre-existing contractual relationship with the data subject; this constitutes own advertising (in accordance with Article 21.2 of the LSSICE).
- Please direct any enquiries to the company within the Educa Edtech Group that is best placed to meet the user’s academic needs.
- Processing of data relating to a company’s contact person, or natural persons, for the purposes of professional contact and in accordance with the services they provide (in relation to Article 19 of the LOPDGDD).
- The ability to record incoming and outgoing telephone calls in order to ensure the quality of service
- Segmentation activities. Segmentation or profiling may be carried out with the aim of tailoring the content of training programmes to users’ needs. Under no circumstances will segmentation or profiling have any legal or significant effects on the data subject.
- In order to improve the website and its performance, we compile statistics and collect information on users’ browsing activity, including the date and time of access.
3. To whom will we disclose your data?
Educa Edtech Group comprises business schools dedicated to providing training services in various academic fields. Where a request received from a user does not match the training services provided by the organisation receiving that request, it will be redirected to the organisation that can offer the training programme best suited to the user’s academic and/or professional needs.
Your personal data may be disclosed to the Data Controller’s partner companies and subsidiaries where necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, so that they may provide, through various channels, information on products and services relating to training, employment, publishing products and new technologies, whilst in all cases complying with the security measures required by current legislation on the protection of personal data, as well as the Company’s general quality and privacy policies.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, personal information provided to us shall not be disclosed to third parties, except where such disclosure is required by applicable law; by a court of law or a competent authority, or where it is necessary to disclose essential data for the purposes of providing the service, or where such disclosure is expressly requested and the User gives their consent.
4. Are international data transfers carried out?
Educa Edtech Group will not carry out any international transfers of your data.
5. How long will we keep your data?
Your personal data will be retained for as long as is necessary to effectively fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and for the period specified by current legislation, unless you withdraw your consent or exercise your right to restrict processing. In such cases, your data will be blocked for the periods specified by law.
With regard to the recording of telephone calls, these will be retained for a period of THREE (3) months from the date of recording.
6. What security measures will we put in place?
Educa Edtech Group will treat your personal data with the strictest confidentiality, applying the security, technical and organisational measures set out in the relevant legislation.
7. What rights can you exercise?
The User has the following rights regarding the processing of their personal data:
- The right to request access to your personal data.
- The right to request that your data be corrected if it is inaccurate, or to request that it be erased (for example, if you consider that it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected).
- The right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted, provided that any of the conditions set out in the regulations are met, in which case we will only retain your data for the purpose of exercising or defending legal claims.
- The right to object to the processing of your data, in which case we will cease to process your data, except where there are compelling legitimate grounds, or for the purposes of establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
- Right to data portability.
- The right to withdraw consent for each specific purpose, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.
- The right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (the competent supervisory authority for data protection matters), particularly where you have not received a satisfactory response regarding the exercise of your rights: Lodge a complaint

8. How can you exercise your rights?

These forms must be signed electronically or accompanied by a photocopy of a valid national identity card or passport.

9. What is the timeframe for resolving requests to exercise rights?
We will inform you of the action taken in response to your request within ONE (1) month; this period may be extended by a further TWO (2) months in the case of particularly complex requests, and we will notify you of any such extension within the first month.
In cases where we are unable to comply with your request, we will inform you of this, stating the reasons for our refusal, within ONE (1) month of your request being submitted
10. How did we obtain your personal data?
We collect the information you provide by filling in the various forms on the website (“Contact us!”, “We’ll call you!”, “Request information”), when you book a training course with us by ticking the box “I accept the Privacy Policy” and clicking to submit your details, or when you send emails or WhatsApp messages to Educa Edtech Group via the accounts set up for this purpose, the User confirms that they have read and expressly accepted this privacy policy, and gives their unequivocal and express consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the stated purposes.
In accordance with the purposes set out in paragraph 2, the categories of data to be processed are as follows:
- Personal details: first name and surname, telephone number and email address.
10.1 What happens if I don’t provide them?
Mandatory data will be clearly marked on the information collection forms. If you choose not to provide us with any of the data marked as mandatory, we will be unable to fulfil the intended purpose, and neither the data processing nor the provision of the corresponding service will take place. Where a “commercial profile” is created based on the information provided, no automated decisions with legal effects on the User will be made.
You warrant that the Personal Data you provide to us is true and accurate, and you shall be responsible for notifying us of any changes to such data. Should the data provided relate to a third party, the User warrants that they have informed that third party of the matters set out in this document and have obtained their consent to provide their data.
11. Social media
The social media profiles maintained by Educa Edtech Group will not involve any data processing beyond that permitted by the social media platform itself for corporate profiles.
Educa Edtech Group may use these profiles to inform users of each social media platform who follow the Educa Edtech Group profile about its activities, events, seminars, offers, promotions or updates to its products or services, as well as to share information of interest on topics typically covered by Educa Edtech Group.
Educa Edtech Group will not extract any data directly from the social network.
