Introduction

The sexual diversity refers to diversity in people’s sexual orientation and gender identity. In this sense, sexual diversity is regarded as a feature of people, rather than a disease or disorder. From the public authorities measures have been taken to safeguard the rights of LGBTI people and prevent situations discrimination and harassment. Through this training programme in Raising Awareness of Sexual Diversity provides the knowledge needed to detect the instances of discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity, as well as providing appropriate care for those victims.

Objectives
