Introduction

The Course in Emotional Intelligence Applied to Business is highly relevant in the current context, where emotional skills are recognised as fundamental elements and resources for success in the workplace. In particular, emotional intelligence is presented as a powerful tool for improving intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships; as well as supporting change management and effective leadership within organisations. This course provides up-to-date knowledge on existing theories and models of emotional intelligence, whilst also enabling participants to acquire the emotional skills required to tackle the challenges and demands of the business environment.

Objectives

  • To understand the fundamental principles of Industrial Psychology.

  • To study the processes of change and development in the organisational context.

  • To find out how to manage and regulate our emotions in order to apply them in a business context.
