There are several factors that women face in today’s society. At present, society is moving towards a new family model known as the ‘symmetrical family’, in which both spouses share domestic tasks and seek employment. The truth is that, in everyday life, the unequal division of tasks persists. For this reason, factors such as the work-life balance and shared responsibility, are essential for achieving a non-sexist society. This course, ‘Gender in Everyday Life’, aims to provide knowledge and multidisciplinary skills with a view to achieving an egalitarian society in which there is no discrimination against women.
