Thanks to this course at Gender-Sensitive Education you’ll be able to gain first-hand insight into the concepts of sex and gender, as well as the issues relating to gender-based discrimination. At present, it is necessary from an early age to educate from a gender perspective. Therefore, this training course will give you the opportunity to study the gender stereotypes, exploring in greater depth the models that explain the importance of certain cognitive factors in the choice of a role and in the negative and positive influences on the acquisition of gender stereotypes. Once the activity is complete, pupils will have the knowledge to express their views on issues relating to micro-sexism, as well as an understanding of the ambivalent sexism.
