Introduction

The training programme in «Planning for Filming and Post-Production» is an educational programme designed to provide you, as a professional, with the the skills required to effectively design and manage the technical and creative aspects of audiovisual production. Throughout this course, you will learn to to plan and organise the editing and post-production stages, ensuring that resources, time and budgets are used efficiently. Topics to be covered include project planning, cost management, the coordination of teams technical and artistic, and overseeing video editing, colour grading, special effects and sound post-production.

Objectives

  • Distinguish between the key theories and techniques of audiovisual editing, identifying the characteristic elements that define them, with a view to applying them in the creation of audiovisual narratives across various genres and styles.

  • Link the editing and post-production processes audiovisual programmes, identifying, describing and recognising the companies, departments and professional teams involved in their various stages.

  • To analyse the characteristics and performance of technical materials and equipment used in the editing and post-production of audiovisual products, through hands-on experimentation with equipment.

  • To assess the characteristics of the various film, video and audio formats and systems staff involved in the production of audiovisual programmes, to ensure they meet the project’s requirements.
