Introduction

This course, entitled «The Power of Resilience in Coping with Adverse Situations,» provides participants with highly specialised training that enables them to allows for a deeper understanding in the concept of resilience and, what is most importantly, learn how to apply it in their lives. Through this training programme, professionals gain in-depth knowledge and acquire the skills to apply various techniques designed to overcome adverse situations, to tackle problems complex issues or deal with traumas that could affect both their working environment and their personal life.

This training provides a solid foundation for understand and apply resilience in everyday life.

TEACHING UNIT 2. PERSONAL STRATEGIES FOR COPING WITH ADVERSITY
1. Analysis and understanding of the concept of trauma, how it arises and the changes it brings about.
2. Identifying certain patterns of how the human mind works.
3. Recognising the filters that shape our perception of reality.
4. Understanding the meaning of attitude and how it works.
5. Identifying the influence of language on how different situations are handled.
TEACHING UNIT 3. BUILDING RESILIENCE
1. An analysis of what attitude is and how it works.
2. Reflections on ways to cultivate a resilient attitude.
3. Understanding and applying techniques for managing anxiety and controlling worries.
4. Identifying techniques for overcoming a problem or trauma.
