This Windows and Word Beginners’ Course offers specialised training in Microsoft Windows. This course is designed to teach the basics of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Word to people who wish to learn basic skills in the use of these programmes. This knowledge is essential in professional and academic settings, and can be useful in a variety of everyday situations.

Objectives

  • Understanding the user interface of Windows, including the desktop, the taskbar and the Start menu.

  • Learning how to navigate the windows and folders in the operating system.

  • Use tools text editing functions, such as copy, cut, paste, undo and redo.
